The title "Sun of Justice" refers to God, or specifically to Jesus, whose light, truth, and love shine upon the world with healing and restoration. Mary, as the "Mirror of Justice," reflects that divine brilliance perfectly, embodying the love, truth, and healing that emanate from God.

In her role as the Mirror of Justice, Mary lived a life that fully embraced and reflected the love of the Father. From the moment of her fiat, her “yes” to God’s will, Mary became the vessel through which God’s justice and love entered the world. She reflected the Father’s affirmation to Jesus—“You are my beloved Son”—throughout His life, nurturing Him, guiding Him, and ultimately standing by Him with unwavering faith and love at the foot of the cross.

Malachi’s “healing in its wings” speaks of a promise of restoration and peace. Through her maternal intercession and example, Mary brings healing to our lives, just as she did for Jesus.. Her voice, gentle and familiar, calls us home to her Son’s heart. She reminds me of my own mother, whose love carried me through life until her passing in March 2024. My mom’s voice truly sounded like home to me—a presence I deeply miss, much like the tender embrace Mary offers to us all. For those grieving the loss of a mother or longing for maternal love, Mary is there to bring comfort and healing.

As the Mirror of Justice, Mary reminds us that we, too, are called to reflect the love, truth, and light of Christ in the world. Like her, may we become mirrors of God’s justice, shining His healing and mercy to those in need. May Mary, the gentle and loving Mother of Jesus, comfort us and lead us ever closer to the radiant light of the Sun of Justice.
