Sunday Reflection - 3/13/22
Today’s readings:
Genesis 15:5-12, 17-18
Psalm 27:1, 7-9, 13-14
Philippians 3:17-4:1
Luke 9:28B-36
“Our citizenship is in heaven” and our “savior, Lord Jesus Christ” will “change our lowly body to conform with his glorified body”. While on the mountain with Peter, John, & James, Jesus “appeared in glory”. His “face changed in appearance & his clothing became dazzling white.” Moses, who provided the exodus for the Israelites from Egypt, along with Elijah “spoke of [Christ’s] exodus”. God said “This is my chosen Son; listen to him” & through the death and resurrection of our savior, Lord Jesus Christ, we find the [road out (or the way] to the “land of the living.” Like the “covenant with Abram”, this is the land in which is promised to us by God if we respond to what God says with a YES!
